Privacy policy

When you create a lister account, we collect the account, contact, listing, and billing-related information needed to provide the service.

Lakewood Desks uses this information to operate lister accounts, publish listings, collect listing subscription fees, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Google sign-in is optional. With your permission, Google provides basic profile information, including your name, email address, and Google account identifier. Google may also return a profile picture. We store your name, email address, and account identifier to create or connect your Lakewood Desks account and verify future sign-ins; we do not store the Google profile picture or Google access tokens.

We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, or Google Drive. Google account information is used for account access, security, and support, not advertising or sale to other companies. Our hosting and database providers process the account information needed to operate the service.

You can remove Lakewood Desks access in your Google Account settings. This does not automatically delete your Lakewood Desks account or listings. To request deletion of your account and its stored Google identifier, contact us at the email address below.

Public listing contact details are shown so renters can contact the lister directly. Payment details are handled by our payment provider. We do not sell your personal information.

We count page views by day, page path, estimated device category, and broad referral source to understand website use. Traffic records contain aggregate counts, not names, email addresses, search terms, or visitor identifiers. We do not use analytics cookies. Admin pages and listing previews are excluded, and we honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Separate abuse-prevention controls may use hashed network information.

Interactive maps are provided by Google Maps. When a map loads, Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser requests. When a lister makes an address public, we send that address to Google to verify its building location and display it on Google Maps. Hidden addresses are not sent for verification or shown publicly. Unverified addresses are not assigned a guessed location.

Google Maps use is subject to the Google Maps terms and Google Privacy Policy.

We retain inquiry records for operational follow-up and recordkeeping. To request access, correction, or deletion, email lakewooddesk@gmail.com.
